About the Speaker
Rita Tateel is a celebrity expert and influencer with close to four decades of experience in this unique field. She has served as director of a speaker’s bureau for a national non-profit organization, president of a celebrity booking agency, and for the last 30+ years as Founder and President of The Celebrity Source. Over the years, Tateel has developed many strong and lasting relationships within the celebrity community, making her a top celebrity influencer. One of Tateel’s clients called her “the celebrity whisperer” because she is so skilled at getting celebrities to say “yes.”

Tateel is a dynamic and entertaining speaker who specializes in educating her audiences about the “art and science” of working with celebrities and their representatives.

She has been interviewed and quoted as a celebrity expert in numerous publications and media sources including CNN, The Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, Playboy, L.A. Times, N.Y. Times, N.Y. Post, PRWeek, USA Today, Complete Woman Magazine, Daily Variety, Hollywood Reporter, E! Entertainment, “EXTRA!,” Financial News Network, A&E Network and “Entertainment Tonight” among many others.

Tateel’s PRSA credentials include serving as two-term past chair of PRSA’s Professional Development Committee, two-term past president of PRSA Los Angeles and the founding chair of PRSA’s Entertainment and Sports Section. She has presented numerous sessions at PRSA’s International conference and PRSSA, as well as being a sought-after lecturer for PR/marketing curriculums at colleges and universities. Tateel lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Ted Bavin, a pioneer in the solar industry, and their cats, Honey and Brie.
